The Nobel Prize is “an annual award for outstanding contributions to chemistry or physics or physiology and medicine or literature or economics or peace.” People get Nobel Prizes for doing something outstanding in either Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, Medicine, Literature, Economics, or Peace, and being nominated by a well known scientist or professional in one of the above fields.

(1906) Theodore Roosevelt- Drew up the 1905 peace treaty between Russia and Japan.
(1919) Thomas Woodrow Wilson – Founder of the Société des Nations (League of Nations)
(1964) Martin Luther King Jr. – Campaigner for civil rights.
